The article presents a study which examined the differences in learning outcomes of engineering students by gender, race/ethnicity, and the intersections of gender and race/ethnicity. Topics discussed include fundamental skills, design skills, and contextual competence of the engineering students, professional outcomes, and findings on women and men of color in engineering fields.
