- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 47-year-old Asian male who presented to the emergency department of a tertiary care centre with headache, personality change, and confusion as well as worsening of vision in the right eye. Computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the head revealed a large extra-axial mass with the epicentre located within the right middle cranial fossa. The diagnosis was that of a lymphoepithelial carcinoma, a type of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC).
