- Abstract
The article discusses listeners in relation to the the Dane-zaa First Nations tribe-related soundscape recordings created by audio engineer Howard Broomfield during the twentieth century, and it mentions the World Soundscape Project and nostalgia. The authors' experiences with Broomfield are addressed, along with Canada's Doig River Reserve and the editing of analog and digital audio documents. "The Listener" collection of audio recordings by Bloomfield is assessed.
