- Abstract
This retrospective study was aimed to identify dogs with neoplasms affecting the central nervous system (CNS) and compile information on the affected breeds, sex, age group, anatomical site of the tumor, type of clinical signs and clinical course. The neoplasms included in this study occurred mainly in Boxers and the predominantly affected age-group was 5-10-year-old. Primary CNS neoplasms accounted for 57.7% of the cases, 73.3% of which were brain tumors and 26.6% spinal cord tumors. Meningioma was the most frequently diagnosed neoplasm.
