- Abstract
The article reports that Mexico contains a high diversity of marine mammals, with several species of whales, dolphins and manatees reported in the Gulf of Mexico. Topics include considered several species are recorded for the State of Yucatan, including the pygmy sperm whale and the pygmy sperm whale inhabits tropical and temperate oceanic waters.
