- Authors
Deeming, Paul; Johnson, Laurie Lee
- Abstract
The article discusses the development and outcomes of the successful two-year project by the DeafBlind Services Minnesota LLC. The firm was awarded a grant by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) to create a pilot project to provide deafblind individuals the proper support groups. The project selected the social learning theory of psychologist Albert Bandura as its foundation since it suggests that observational learning has powerful effect and that people learn from each other.
