- Title
Modeling the Solid--Liquid Equilibrium in Pharmaceutical-Solvent Mixtures: Systems with Complex Hydrogen Bonding Behavior.
- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses ways to model pharmaceuticals in cases which only limited experimental data is available. The authors propose a methodology to model the phase equilibria of complex chemicals, including pharmaceuticals, using equation of state (EoS) models. Pure fluid parameters are estimated using limited experimental or predicted data on sublimation pressures and liquid densities, the authors state. Other topics include modeling the solubility of the pharmaceuticals which include acetanilide, phenacetin, and paracetamol.
