- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 6-month-old non-descript male dog with history of gradual swelling of the mouth, oral bleeding and abnormal prehension after the introduction of a large amount of food. A sublingual mucocele was diagnosed based on the history, clinical examination and needle aspiration. The article also discusses the need to remove the damaged salivary gland to prevent further accumulation of mucus and drainage of the mucocele.
