- Abstract
2 Medical record review revealed a total of 12 patients with GC but four patients were excluded (insufficient clinical information and lack of histological confirmation in three patients, one patient had concomitant Crohn disease). This is in line with another report showing short-term improvement in only one of five patients treated with azithromycin.4 We achieved the best response with methotrexate, but only one patient had a durable remission (Fig. Of the remaining eight patients (six women and two men; mean age at first presentation of 43.6 years [range, 24-81 years]), four had GC of the upper lip, three of the lower lip, and one patient had both lips affected.
