The article examines the implications of the regarding the decision on the U.S. Supreme Court case "U.S. Philips Corp. v. International Trade Commission," which serves to restrict patent misuse doctrine. The legal background of package licenses was discussed together with procedural history of the case. Key information about the U.S. Department of Justice's patent-expert mechanism is further presented.
