THE USE OF MTAs TO CONTROL COMMERCIALIZATION OF STEM CELL DIAGNOSTICS AND THERAPEUTICS.
- Authors
O'Connor, Sean
- Abstract
The article discusses the significance of material transfer agreements (MTA) to control commercialization of stem cell diagnostics and therapeutics. MTAs in life sciences research are used to set contractual rights and obligations between the provider and the recipient with respect to the materials and any derivatives where one party transfers biological materials to the other. In addition, MTA will govern the transfer of cell lines and other biological materials.
