The article examines the U.S. Supreme Court approach in recognition and enforcement the foreign arbitration awards. Topics discussed include decision of the U.S. Supreme Court in the case 'Vimar Seguros y Reaseguros, S. A. v. MfV Sky Reefer,' enactment of the Carriage of Goods by Sea Act (COGSA) in the country, and the arbitration clause of the COGSA.
