- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the complete mitochondrial genome of the rice moth Corcyra cephalonica. The mitogenome composition and gene order of the rice moth are the same as other lepidopterans, while the nucleotide composition of the Corcyra cephalonica mitogenome is highly A+T biased. Its mitogenome has various large intergenic spacer regions, which is common in Lepidoptera.
