- Abstract
The article focuses on a research conducted in order to analyze the potential utility of aquatic insects of New York salt marsh associated with mosquito larval habitat for non-target pesticide impacts, environmental biomonitoring and as biological indicators. It discusses the collection of a total of 18 species from 11 families and five orders for study. The study revealed that Trichocorixa verticalis and Ephydra subopaca are two most commonly encountered species.
