- Abstract
The article discusses a study concerning the pathogenicity of four strains of Bacillus thuringiensis against a tick called Rhipicephalus microplus. It is stated that strain of R.microplus (Rm) which is resistant to organophosphates, pyrethroids, and amidines were used and underwent bioassay through an immersion test of Drummond against 60 B. thuringiensis (Bt). The study revealed the toxicity of all the four strains of Bt against the resistant strain of Rm.
