The article discusses the legal remedies that human trafficking survivors could use to make hotels liable for allowing trafficking in their premises under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2008 (TVPRA). Other topics include how U.S. district courts are using agency theory and vicarious liability to determine whether hotels are liable for the exploitation of trafficking survivors, and the legislative intent of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA).
