- Abstract
The article discusses the author's experience of being a first time middle school science teacher who experience difficulties in effective communication and in the analysis of results of scientific experiments. He relates that he paired up with a language arts teacher to develop a teaching strategy that was designed for high-interest and hands-on consumer science activities of students. He also points out the effectiveness of the strategy in improving the quality of the student's science writing.
