- Abstract
The article focuses on the report of the secondary school sub-committee about the review of recent research in the teaching of science at the secondary school level II in the U.S. The group selected for inclusion in this review a total of thirty-four studies. Those included from a larger number examined met the criteria of a broadly conceived definition of research. The committee feels that the time has come when additional consideration and study should be made of the possibility and probability that the curriculum may be a determiner of interests and should be considered.
