- Abstract
The article summarizes a selection of key legislative, regulatory and judicial developments in renewable energy and demand-side management at both the federal and state level from January 2008 to December. It attempts to evaluate the enacted legislation, actions of Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other federal agency activity. It reports updates on renewable portfolio standard, state measures to address siting issues and offshore wind proposals in several states. It examines FERC issues and demand-side management programs in Regional Transmission Organizations/Independent System Operators. It also reports update on California developments and state measures addressing energy efficiency.
