- Abstract
The article discusses the use of Janus fabric coated with a multifunctional polymer as an approach for the effective removal of oil from emulsions in the research conducted by Guojun Liu, Canada research chair in materials science in the department of chemistry at Queens University. Topics include the successful trial of Janus fabric testing which was done with emulsions based on hexadecane, toluene and chlorobenzene and the use of surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate to stabilize emulsion.
