Protest Now and Again.

- Abstract
This article examines the Port Huron Project of activist/artist Mark Tribe that reenacts a speech that he delivered in 1971 at the Boston Commons to protest the Vietnam War and the commentary of American playwright Howard Zinn about the role of fugitive actions in the future of history. The reenactments of the speeches at the original locations give credit to a past that gives people the alternative to choose a government that does not foster activism. The use of multiple environments provide glimpses of how history may be changed by political play.
