- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 42-year-old female patient with a history of dysuria and vaginal discharge after a routine total abdominal hysterectomy (TAH) to treat a myoma, and who developed a supratrigonal vesicovaginal fistula (VVF). The diagnosis was confirmed after performing pelvic examination, cystoscopy, computed tomography (CT). A vaginal repair of the VVF was also performed and was preceded by insertion of a guidewire into the fistula in the upper vagina and into the bladder.
