- Abstract
The article reports an outbreak of norovirus gastroenteritis among attendees at a family reunion in Grant County, West Virginia in October 2006. Patients reported two or more episodes of nonbloody diarrhea or vomiting within a day after the reunion. Food served at the reunion that were associated with the outbreak were scalloped potatoes, chicken, and chocolate cheese balls. Information on the clinical manifestation, transmission, prevention, and control noroviruses is presented.
