- Abstract
In recent decades, the field of migration studies, both in Spain and internationally, had confirmed the power of mobility as an agent of social stratification in the global context. However, the pandemic situation caused by COVID-19 points to the role that (in) mobility is playing as an agent of inequality in the societies of the "new normal". In this work, we go through ten years of Spanish scientific production (2009-2021), with the aim of analysing the literature's treatment of the changes that have taken place in migration phenomena in a decade marked by economic and social crises, which have now been exacerbated by the third crisis caused by the pandemic. All this from the perspective of the social stratification produced by mobility and (in) mobility.
