- Abstract
The article explores in the autumn of 1952, two Jehovah's Witnesses from Ukraine clandestinely met in L´viv in a safe house owned by a Witness courier named Tatiana. They did not know each other. This was their first meeting since the 1951 deportation and wide-scale repression of Jehovah's Witnesses in western Ukraine. They met to discuss possible attempts to restore the Witness underground network and to set up new leadership.
