- Title
JUSQU'À QUATRE-VINGTS NATIONS AUTOCHTONES AU CANADA?
- Authors
Trudel, Pierre
- Abstract
This article presents the author's response to the reports published by the Canadian Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples. The report states that due to colonialization in the 19th century the common identity among aboriginal peoples was dispersed and thus the nations must reform in order to preserve their heritage. The author believes that the Canadian government's policy towards the First Nations is not sufficient to allow this to happen.
