- Authors
Lawrence, Elizabeth A.
- Abstract
The article offers poetry criticism of the poem "Ode to a Nightingale," by John Keats. It explores the creative powers of Keats that have risen not only by the voice of the symbolic bird, but, by an individual living nightingale in full song. It also presents an analysis of the interaction that enhances the understanding of the Ode and clarifies some important aspects of the poet's mode of thought in relation to the question of boundaries between humankind and nature.
