- Abstract
The authors of the book "Judging Inequality: State Supreme Courts and the Inequality Crisis" examine several of the major findings of their book, particularly concerning the varied nature of judicial decisions regarding cases of equality, judicial ideology, and the partisan composition of state supreme courts in the form of Republican and Democratic-affiliated judges. The article also discusses the significance of the composition of courts as it relates to the other state government branches, and courts as potential ally of special interests.
