- Abstract
The article discusses findings of a study on quality of life and psychosocial functioning in adolescents with developmental coordination disorder (DCD) and attention-deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). It states that self-referential labels such as ‘weird', ‘oddball', and ‘misfits point to mental health-related concerns, and mentions that children and adolescents with motor coordination problems are at greater risk for depression and anxiety.
