The article explores the explores the U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board's (TTAB) 2014 cancellation decision against a Pro-Football Inc.'s trademark appeal, and the ways in which that response digressed from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO)disparagement framework. It mentions the need of USPTO to create a new framework that can benefit trademark applicants and minority groups.
