- Abstract
The article presents a case report of a 31-year-old male patient with a history of respiratory tract infection, hypotension and acute kidney injury and who experienced proteinuria after taking Gelofusine®-branded intravenous succinylated gelatin solution. There was an increased protein concentration detected in the patient, which was caused by the adverse reaction of gelatine-derived protein with the Pyrogallol red, Lowry and Biuret assays.
