An Interview with Jennifer Egan.
- Authors
Reilly, Charlie
- Abstract
Presents an interview with novelist Jennifer Egan. When asked about the fact that her three novels "The Keep," "Look at Me" and "The Invisible Circus" all involve two intertwining stories, she says it was not a conscious choice but thinks it may be related to her growing up in the two households of her divorced parents. She states that the most important aspect for her of writing a novel is finding a voice, and the plot develops from that. She is open to different interpretations of her work.
