- Authors
Mancke, Ralph G.; Gavin, Thomas A.
- Abstract
The article focuses on a study on the density of breeding bird in woodlots, citing differences in density at the edge and depth. It states use of measure of depth as the primary variable, which depends on distances to four woodlot edges, and mentions threats associated with species living at the edges. It notes analysis of two woods in eastern Pennsylvania, and cites that densities of the birds were affected by buildings at the edge of the woodlots.
