- Abstract
The article presents an analysis of the Lutheran church music composition known as cantata 92, or "Ich hab in Gottes Herz und Sinn," written by Baroque-era composer Johann Sebastian Bach. The author examines rhythmic and harmonic motifs in the composition, interpreting them within the context of the cantata's lyrics, Bach's theology, and biblical literature. Additional attention is paid to the instrumentation and arrangement of the cantata.
