- Abstract
The article discusses the challenges faced by the Federal Reserve Board consolidated regulation for the savings and loan holding firms in the U.S. It points out that savings and loan holding firms will be subjected to the source of strength, holding company examination, capital, and other existing bank holding company regulatory requirements. The board proposed a notice noting that it will issue rates and formal guidance applicable to the supervisory program.
