- Abstract
The article discusses the influence of oral sex on oral cancer. It notes various types of oral sex that are performed by people of all sexual orientations including cunnilungus, and analingus. According to the author, oral sex could cause the transmission of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) such as the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV). It also highlights the research which reveals that oral sex may transmit human papillomavirus that is implicated in most cervical cancers.
