- Authors

- Abstract
The article discusses an archeological research work of some peculiar artifacts of post-Gandharan, with a special focus on rock sculpture in Swat, Pakistan. It notes that the first information concerning stelae and rock sculptures with Buddhist theme dates back in the early fieldworks of A. E. Caddy in 1896, followed by the reconnaissance carried out by A. Stein in 1898. It highlights the proposed interpretation of the research work on their intimate connection with the presence of the Turki &#x 015A;āhis and their royal ideology. An overview of the wall remains and sherd of the Tindo Dog is also presented.
