- Abstract
The article discusses the aftermath of the 1916 Easter Rising in Dublin, Ireland, focusing on the compensation of the people and businesses affected by the Rising as well as reconstruction of impacted structures. Other topics include British strategies to convince Americans to join World War I, the role of former British Prime Minister H. H. Asquith in getting compensation for the Irish people, and the handling of claims by the Property Losses Committee.
