- Abstract
The article presents a study on the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), sertraline specific serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) and combination therapy in postnatal depression (PND) treatment. It discusses the efficacy of CBT, SSRI and their combination in addressing depression, anxiety and parenting-related stress, finding that mono-therapies are more effective in depression treatment and finding that women under combination treatment had poorer amelioration of depression and anxiety.
