Abstract
The article discusses the Hearing Loss Association of America's (HLAA) successful lawsuit against Cinemark Holdings, one of the largest cinema chains in the U.S. It states that together with the Disability Rights Advocates and the Association of Late Deafened Adults (ALDA), HLAA filed suit against Cinemark for failing to provide all theaters with closed captioning. It reports that due to its win, Cinemark agreed to have all theaters run closed captions by June 2012.
