A coalgebra structure, involving the free difference quotient derivation, underlies analytic subordination results related to Markovianity in free probability theory. In this context, an algebraic structure, resembling a Hopf algebra, based on derivation-comultiplications, is identified; it is shown that there is good duality behavior.
