The article focuses on legislation concerning the juvenile justice system in India. Accordingly, it discusses the implementation of different Children's Acts including the Juvenile Justice Act of 1986 and the Juvenile Justice Act of 2000 and the amendments made to this legislation. It then examines where this legislation made improvements and where it failed. The paper also explores where India stands in comparison to other countries in terms of juvenile law.
