- Abstract
The article discusses the challenges in school management and education financing in Thailand. It states that Thailand is inefficient in utilizing resources due to the absence of an accountability system. The components in creating a school accountability system are discussed such as information reform, school-based management reform, and teacher incentive reform. Policy recommendations to implement the accountability systems are offered including mandating standardized tests.
