- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the long-term results of treated anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) ruptures in high level athletes. It compares the findings of two groups of these athletes, namely, those that have been conservatively treated and operatively treated for ACL ruptures including degenerative changes in the knee, instability and activity level. An overview of the methodology and results is offered.
