- Abstract
The article proposes an approach to preparing highly dispersed and highly thermostable non- noble (bi) metallic nanoparticles (NP) supported on ordered mesoporous silica for applications in heterogeneous catalysis, particularly, in the liquid phase chemoselective hydrogenation of unsaturated aldehydes. It outlines a research programme that aims to gain insight into the mechanism of stabilization of NP within the dual pore system of SBA-15 materials.
