- Abstract
The authors comment on a study published in this issue of the journal which examined patients with intestinal tuberculosis (TB) from India who underwent intestinal resection. According to the authors, varied clinical presentation of other intestinal pathologies with signs and symptoms similar to intestinal TB were highlighted in this study. They point out the accuracy of polymerase chain reaction as a diagnostic tool for intestinal TB.
