- Abstract
The article discusses the increasing number of motion picture archives within museums. These archives encompass personal snapshots and unpublished production shots, sent in by cameramen, directors and stars, which serve as a quick look at the motion picture production during the early period. The purpose of these archives is to serve informative documents that have been rarely seen by students in the motion picture course. Motion picture artists have contributed to the preservation of motion picture collections for the future. The article also presents few samples of photographs.
