The article focuses on issues surrounding police interrogation of criminal suspects such as delinquent girls in the process of juvenile justice administration in the U.S. Topics discussed include the U.S Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDP) that prohibited states from institutionalizing status offenders with delinquents in secure facilities, changes in state laws that regulates punishments given to delinquents and Miranda rights.
