- Abstract
The article presents information on the interpretation of Commerce Clause by the U.S. Supreme Court allowing the U.S. Congress with the power to legislate in case of issues related to interstate commerce. The issues related to such deferential standards, the political pressure and the unrestrained discretion granted to the Congress are discussed. The concept of individual mandate and the related disputes are also discussed.
