- Abstract
The article focuses on civil liability in cases of bullying in the U.S. Topics discussed include mental and physical problems faced by children who are bullied, bullying resulting in violent acts such as school shootings, wrongful death claims by parents of bullied children who commit suicide, schools being sued for negligence in cases of bullying in Heidenberg v. Hillel School of Tampa, torts such as assault and battery being applied and the Civil Rights Act being applied in such cases.
